Great for a group gathering and party, this is such a fun way to serve and eat your favorite meats.


  • 1 lb tender cut beef (tenderloin, cut into thin slices), or chicken in 1 inch pieces
  • 6 C beef broth
  • 1/4 C soy sauce
  • 2 t grated ginger
  • 4 t parsley
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 T oil
  • Assorted veggies, cut into bite-sized pieces


  1. Crush the clove of garlic
  2. Sautee onion and garlic in oil
  3. Add all ingredients except meat
  4. Arrange meat on lettuce leaves on platter
  5. Arrange veggies on separate platter
  6. At serving time, divide broth mixture into two metal pots and heat until boiling
  7. With fondue forks spear meat and dip 2-4 minutes into broth, keeping it at low boil
  8. Transfer meat and vegetables to plate and eat with table fork


Serve with sauce for dipping!
